
As part of the SUSRUR project's Stakeholder Engagement Tools & Clustering Actions (WP6), Kaunas University of Technology will host a solution-oriented workshop on 29 November to address the challenges and needs of sustainable tourism in rural areas.
On 29th of November the event will cover:
- During the "Youth for a Sustainable Future" event, representatives of different communities and KTU researchers working in the field will share real-life examples to better understand the importance of community involvement in climate change mitigation.
- Presentation of the SUSRUR project open call No. 3. COLLABORATE.
- Presentation of research results: Identification of the main needs and challenges related to sustainable tourism development in remote areas.
- Expert Workshop: Identifying effective strategies and tools to implement sustainable and digital change in remote rural tourism regions.
This event contributes to the promotion of practical approaches and innovative solutions for the sustainable development of rural tourism.
