Seminars Description

This agenda outlines the training program for two seminars focused on sustainable tourism practices in rural and remote areas, offering participants knowledge, skills, and tools to implement sustainability and innovation strategies in line with the GSTC Criteria.

GSTC Seminars

Seminars Overview

· Seminar 1: Sustainable Tourism for SMEs
· Seminar 2: Sustainable Tourism and Destinations

Duration per Seminar: 22 hours

14.5 h Synchronous (live sessions):

  • 5 topics (2.5 hours per topic)
  • 2-hour assignments presentation

7.5 h Asynchronous (self-paced learning):

  • 0.5 hour assignment preparation
  • 4 hours GSTC criteria presentation
  • 3 hour invited experts presentation



The topics to be covered in each seminar will include, among others:

  • Sustainable Management
  • Sustainability and Strategy in Tourism
  • Standards and Certification
  • Sustainable Tourism Marketing & Digitalization
  • Technology and Innovation in Sustainable Tourism



Focus on rural tourism and sustainability using GSTC Criteria:

  • The material will give emphasis to cases and examples of application to rural and remote character of SMEs.
  • The material will take into account to cases and examples of application in Destinations from the 5 Regions of the Project and their particular characteristics.

RELEVANT INFORMATION

The language of the seminar will be English.

The seminars will be provided by GSTC and facilitated by GREEN EVOLUTION as a GSTC Training representative. Registration & payment will be done through the GSTC PLATFORM and the asynchronous part via the online system called Pathwright.


The package of both seminars and the Professional Certification Exams is 1 000 €.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

  • Option 1: Full Payment
    • Pay the full amount of 1 000 € at the time of registration.
  •  Option 2: 3-Part Payment
    • 300 € due on Registration Day
    • 300 € due by March 10, 2025
    • 400 € due by May 31, 2025
